Surbhi Agarwal is a self-learner and highly determined young woman entrepreneur who has made an indelible mark in the Indian business ecosystem with her crafts Start-Up “The Art Exotica”. She is the Founder & CEO   and heads the onus for the smooth functioning and execution of strategic goals of the Company. Prior to this startup, Surbhi has also been a Heathprenuer and instrumental in arching up a super specialty, Agarwal Hospital, which caters mainly into Orthopaedics | Pediatrics | Dentistry needs, she is still actively involved in the administering of her family business. The experiences she gained further propelled her into having her own startup in sustainable Rajasthani Handicrafts & Textiles. Her pilot initiative in the rural villages of Rajasthan, especially in the Barmer region, strengthened her resolve for sustainable development and conservation of indigenous art forms and work traditions. She envisions establishing rural women artisan’s clusters across the country and beyond. Surbhi’s entrepreneurial success was epitomized on her by Federation of Women Entrepreneurs of India for the Year 2015 as a Women Entrepreneur in Healthcare. She was also conferred by Bombay Stock Exchange’s President’s Gold Medal for Capital Markets Program in 2005. An alumnus of Mayo College, Surbhi - attained her Healthcare Management program from prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. She has pursued her Executive International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. She also accomplished Total Quality Management from Japan. She has been socially conscious, her passion and relentless works for Women Empowerment is inevitable. She is imparting vocational training to women free of cost for driving skills, to be able to have active women drivers on roads of Rajasthan and also self defense techniques to get employment as security personnel’s. She sees to it that women are mobilized to understand, identified and overcome economical, social, professional hurdles. She firmly believes that small steps taken today will definitely lead to a giant leap tomorrow for the rise of women hood may it be in physical, mental, intellectual or spiritual strata. She always emphasize that we woman are very good into multi-tasking and their power play should be used for positive results. It gives them courage to stand-up for themselves, voice their opinion and excel in their field. In times to come, Surbhi Agarwal is all set to turn The Art Exotica into an artistically holistic art space, where Arts, exclusive textiles, objets d’art, jewellery, et al, She is ambitious and always raring to go and do something unexpected, out-of-the-box, in line with the current international trends.
